SBAI Comments on IOSCO CP on Regulation of Short Selling

We highlight that it is importance the regulatory toolkit developed in relation to short selling is anchored in:

  • A rigorous process for identifying disorderly markets, and
  • A carefully calibrated spectrum of tools or mitigants that regulators can employ to counter disorderly markets.
