Anthony is Head of Business Development for RBC BlueBay Asset Management (RBC Global Asset Management’s business outside North America), a position he assumed in 2020. He joined the firm in September 2012 as Sales Director for the UK and Ireland before becoming the Head of the UK team in May 2017. Anthony joined from Old Mutual Asset Managers where he was Director of their institutional business.
Before that he spent ten years with Alliance Bernstein, working in Australia, New Zealand, and latterly in the UK, as a sales and client relations director. His career in financial services began at Deloitte & Touche in Cape Town in 1995.
He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Town and is a chartered accountant. Anthony is a CFA charterholder.
Executive Director, SBAI
Thomas Deinet was appointed Executive Director of the SBAI (previously known as the HFSB) in 2008. In 2007, Thomas joined the working group to project manage the development of practice standards proposed by 14 leading international alternative investment managers that led to the establishment of the SBAI.
Prior to joining the SBAI, he was a senior manager at Oliver Wyman, where he extensively worked with major financial institutions in Europe covering asset management as well as corporate and investment banking. Thomas also worked as an analyst in energy trading for a major commodities trading firm.
Thomas is a graduate of the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, with a major in industrial engineering and holds an MSc from Purdue University, USA. Thomas is a CFA charterholder.
Head of Multi-Strategy Equities , Man Group
Edward (‘Ed’) Cole is Head of Multi-Strategy Equities within Solutions at Man Group, where he is responsible for equity content in multi-strategy funds and institutional solutions. He is a member of the Solutions’ Investment Committee in this capacity. He was formerly Managing Director of Discretionary Investments, where he oversaw the multi-manager equity hedge fund platform.
He was also a member of the Discretionary Management Committee. Ed previously focused on emerging markets, as an equity strategist at JPMorgan, and latterly as a portfolio manager overseeing long only, long-short and multi-asset strategies.
Ed has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Bristol, and a master’s in Development Economics from the London School of Economics.

Guillermo Felices, PhD is a Principal and Global Investment Strategist at PGIM Fixed Income, based in London. Mr. Felices is responsible for designing macro-based investment strategy across asset classes. Prior to joining the Firm in August 2021, Mr. Felices was Head of Investment Strategy and a member of the Multi-Asset Investment Committee at BNP Paribas Asset Management. Previously, he was Head of Asset Allocation Research for Europe at Barclays, having joined in 2011 as Head of Foreign Exchange Strategy for Europe. Earlier, he was a Senior Global Macro Strategist at Citi (2007-2011) and a Senior Economist at the Bank of England (2002-2007). During 2016,
Mr. Felices was a Research Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research has been published in books and academic journals and his commentary has appeared regularly in the global financial press.
Mr. Felices holds a PhD and an MA in Economics from New York University (Fulbright Scholar) and he received his BA in Economics from Universidad del Pacifico in Lima, Peru.

Wei Liu is a Partner at Clocktower Group, and he oversees the firm’s initiatives in China. Wei splits his time between our Santa Monica and Shanghai offices and travels extensively through China, fostering relationships across the financial services space with a special focus on public markets fund managers as well as corporates and governments. Wei also serves as a member of the APAC committee for the Standards Board for Alternative Investments (SBAI). Wei holds a Financial Risk Manager distinction and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Finance, and received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Fudan University in Shanghai, China.

Chris Pulman joined BAM in October 2018 as an Economic Strategist and was promoted in February 2022 to Head of Macro Research & Chief Economist. He joined from Morgan Stanley where he was an Executive Director and Senior Macro Trading Desk Strategist. Chris is also a psephologist and managed political risk events for the bank's Macro trading desk. He previously traded Emerging Market Rates and FX at Morgan Stanley, as well. Chris's past experience also includes roles at GLC where he worked as a Portfolio Manager and co-managed the overall risk in the Global Macro program.
He earned a Master of Arts degree in Natural Sciences (Experimental & Theoretical Physics) from Gonville & Caius College at the University of Cambridge. Chris is based in our London office.
Head of MEGA Macro Sales Team, Bank of America
Matthias heads the MEGA macro sales team at Bank of America in Europe and is also responsible for the bank’s D1 custom basket offering & content. He focuses on macro themes and high-conviction trade ideas and works closely together with the banks’ macro and multi-asset clients. Matthias joined Bank of America from Credit Suisse in 2015 where he was a Senior Global Strategist, based in London and New York.
Matthias holds Masters’ degrees in International Economics from Maastricht University and Political Sciences from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris.
WTW’s Global Head of Investment Content & Co-founder for Thinking Ahead Institute, Thinking Ahead Institute
Roger joined WTW to start the firm’s investment consulting practice in 1989 and under his leadership the practice grew to a global team of over 500. During this time he was Global Head, between 1995 and 2008, and thereafter assumed the role of Global Head of Investment Content. In this role Roger consults to some of the firm’s major investment clients around the world and generates thought leadership and leads projects within the Thinking Ahead Institute, which he co-founded in 2015.
Roger has worked on strategic issues for some of the largest and most complex asset owners globally. He has led significant engagements at among others RPMI-Railpen, CalPERS, ADIA, Future Fund, TCorp, Aware Super, New Zealand Super, BTPS, AP7 and USS in each case contributing to these organisations’ governance and investment models. He is a strategic adviser to the Future of Finance initiative of the CFA Institute and an Advisory Director to MSCI Inc.
He can claim a number of innovations where he was the first to develop new investment content – notably the first lifecycle DC design in 1988 and the originator of governance budget and risk budget methods in the 2000s, as well as building out the fiduciary management model in 2008 and universal ownership model in 2011. He is also the author of many papers, including on: asset allocation policy, manager selection, sustainability, governance and transformational change.
In 2022, Roger received the CFA Institute Inspirational Leader Award for Professional Excellence for innovation and excellence of practice in the investment profession. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Society of Investment Professionals and a graduate of Oxford University.

Alexander Aronsohn FRICS is a Chartered Surveyor with long and wide-ranging experience of over thirty years encompassing residential asset management, commercial and residential development, rating, national and international valuation and investment. Alexander is the IVSC Technical Director and assists the IVSC Standards Review Board and the Tangible Assets Board on drafting IVS, perspectives papers, presentations, training, and articles.
Prior to joining the IVSC Alexander was the RICS Director of Technical Standards.
Former Head of Operational Due Diligence , Pantheon Ventures
Jean-Francois (J-F) was recently Head of Operational Due Diligence ('ODD') at Pantheon Ventures where he developed and led the firm's ODD program, covering a universe of over 400 Investment Managers/ GPs across private equity, venture capital, private debt, infrastructure and real estate strategies.
Prior to Pantheon Ventures, J-F was Head of ODD at the Pension Protection Fund and was a Senior Consultant in Mercer's Sentinel business unit. J-F has over 22 years experience working in the alternative investments industry, holding senior roles in investment operations, risk management and ODD.
J-F is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Ryan McNelley is a Managing Director in the London office of Kroll, and part of the Portfolio Valuation service line. Ryan’s clients primarily include alternative investment fund managers, including private equity and private debt fund managers, hedge fund managers, infrastructure fund managers, real estate debt fund managers, etc., in both Europe and in the U.S.
Ryan specializes in the valuation of illiquid investments, typically under the IFRS 13, ASC§820 or other local GAAP Fair Value standards used by alternative investment managers.
Ryan is a regular speaker at conferences across Europe and is part of several industry working groups and trade organisations. Nicolas Roth joined UBP in 2023 as Head of Private Markets Advisory and has some 22 years of experience in alternative and private asset investments. He previously spent 14 years at REYL Intesa San Paolo where he was Head of Private Assets, managing funds invested in non-performing loans and real estate assets in southern Europe, as well as advising clients on private markets with an emphasis on credit strategies.
Prior to this, he was Head of Alternative Investments, in charge of a number of funds of hedge funds, managed accounts and other related alternative strategies mostly focusing on credit-related strategies. He started his career in 2002 at American Express as a hedge fund analyst covering structured credit strategies and volatility arbitrage.

Derek Drummond, CAIA, is the Portfolio Manager for the Funds Alpha team at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB), overseeing approximately $30B in assets.
Derek and his team are responsible for the sourcing, evaluation and implementation of external investment managers across both traditional and alternative investment strategies.
Derek has over 20 years of experience developing and implementing investment structures for both asset owners and managers, including developing portfolio construction, analytics and risk management frameworks, and establishing manager due diligence and evaluation processes.

Joon Park is the Co-Founder, President and Chief Operating Officer of Kodai Capital Management LP. Before launching Kodai, Mr. Park was the COO of Investment Management at Alyeska Investment Group. Prior to Alyeska, Mr. Park was Deputy COO for Citadel Investment Group’s Global Equities division. Mr. Zhang is the CEO of UBIQUANT Asset Management Co., Ltd. He has over 20 years of global investment management experience, including 7 years in New York and 8 years in Singapore before he moved to Hong Kong in 2017. Prior to joining Ubiquant in 2023, Mr. Zhang was the deputy CIO of Ping An of China Asset Management (HK) Limited, looking after overseas capital markets investments for the Ping An Group.
Prior to joining Ping An, Mr. Zhang was the head of external managers research at Avanda lnvestment Management in Singapore from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, Steve was a multi-strategy portfolio manager at the global Fund of Funds industry leader, Permal Group, where he managed multiple billion USD assets on the strategy level from 2002 to 2014. The Permal Emerging Markets Holdings under his management was awarded the best emerging markets fund of funds in the world by the Barron's and Invest Hedge, respectively.

Based in London, Amy Flikerski leads the global External Portfolio Management group. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2012, she was a Senior Analyst at Highbridge Capital Management and Talpion Fund Management in New York. Amy was involved in hedge fund manager evaluation, selection and research as an Associate at PAAMCO and gained investment experience at Moon Capital Management, an emerging markets long/short equity fund, and JGP Gestão de Recursos, a Rio de Janeiro-based macro fund.
Amy began her career as a Senior Associate in the High Yield group at Moody’s Investors Service and has worked in the U.S., UK, Brazil, Canada and Hong Kong.
She holds a BA in Economics from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Amy sits on the boards of Elis SA, a France-based international multi-service provider, and 100 Women in Finance.
CEO & CIO, The Pension SuperFund Capital
Kathryn has thirty years’ experience as a direct investor across multiple asset classes, managing complex multi-billion-pound portfolios. She has extensive expertise ranging from alternatives, private markets and derivatives through ESG and board governance. She currently holds non-executive board, investment committee and advisory positions for companies spanning pensions, fintech, private wealth and investment management.
Previously she was Head of Strategy Coordination at USS, which operates the largest pension scheme in the UK. Her team oversaw asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager selection as well as management of both the DB and DC sections. She is a former Director of BT Pension Scheme Management where her responsibilities included manager selection, liabilities and long-term investment strategies. She has also worked at Progressive Alternative Investments, SG Warburg and UBS.
Kathryn is currently an ambassador for the Diversity Project. She was previously a founding Trustee of the Standards Board for Alternative Investments and Chair of the London Board of 100 Women in Finance.
She holds a Masters in Economics and Mathematics from Edinburgh University.
Chairperson of the Supervisory Board, APG Asset Management
Kjaer is the Executive Chairperson of the hedge fund boutique Sector Asset Management and professor II in Finance & sustainability at the Norwegian University of Life Science (NMBU). He is also chairperson of the Supervisory board of APG Asset Management that manages Europe’s largest pension fund, ABP, in the Netherlands.
In 1998, Mr. Kjaer became founding Chief Executive Officer of Norges Bank Investment Management, which was established by the Norwegian government and Norges Bank to manage its sovereign wealth fund and foreign exchange reserves. Later Mr. Kjaer became President of RiskMetrics Group in New York, with direct responsibility for the firm’s global risk management and corporate governance advisory businesses, Institutional Shareholder Services.
In 2008, Kjaer was appointed a Knight Class 1 of the Royal Order of St. Olav by His Majesty King Harald of Norway for his management of the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund and his contribution to the Norwegian economy and the future financing of its pensions.
Kjaer holds a master’s degree in Economics and a degree in political science from the University of Oslo (1982). He has attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School (2003).

Brian Digney joined the SBAI in March 2023 in the role of Research and Content Director. Prior to joining the SBAI, Brian was the Head of Due Diligence & Governance Oversight at Innocap Global Investment Management (Ireland) Ltd (2018-2023) in Dublin, a subsidiary of Innocap Investment Management Inc., a US$50bn hedge fund platform. He acted as Designated Person for Operational Risk Management, a regulated role by the Central Bank of Ireland. He also sat on Innocap’s Irish Risk Oversight and Valuation Committees. In 2017, Brian joined Albourne Partners in London as a Senior Operational Due Diligence Analyst. From 2015 to 2017 he was employed as an Operational Due Diligence Analyst at Mercer Sentinel in London. From 2010 to 2015 he held various Associate level roles at Decura LLP, Morgan Stanley and Citi.
Brian holds an LLB Hons in Law with Criminology and an M.Sc. in Management and Corporate Governance from University of Ulster. Brian is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
Portfolio Manager, Sustainable Design (Total Fund Management), CPP Investments
Jamy is the head of the Sustainable Design team within the Total Fund Management Department. She is responsible for incorporating climate change into CPP Investment’s Strategic Asset Allocation and provides guidance on both public and private investments as a member of the Sustainable Investing Committee. She has more than a decade of experience in energy markets and sustainable investing, having worked in capital markets, trading energy commodities, and value-based investing.
Jamy joined CPPIB in 2015, after working for Macquarie’s Energy Markets Division, where she helped their physical oil and natural gas desk and commodities research activities.
Jamy has a BA in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Chief Sustainable Investment Officer , Phoenix Group
Sindhu Krishna is the Chief Sustainable Investment Officer at the Phoenix Group. Phoenix is UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement business with around 8,000 colleagues across the UK and Europe, supporting 13 million customers, with around £300bn of assets under administration.
With her team of 20 FTEs she shapes & directs the execution of the Group's 1-3 year & long-term ESG Investment Strategy including research on climate risk, nature & biodiversity, social factors; oversees the implementation of cross-functional Enterprise activities/projects.
She has led the design and launch of the custom “FTSE – Phoenix Climate Aware” index series in June 2024. The construction follows core principles such as integrating the decarbonisation trajectory and inclusion of forward-looking data into investment decision-making, ensuring that climate risk management and engaging for change are at the core. The customised decarbonising benchmark is currently applied to c£13bn of assets growing to c£40bn.
She leads asset class-specific research and analysis on sustainability factors; owns and maintains publicly disclosed taxonomy/classification framework for sustainable assets; the Group has invested over £1bn in private assets annually over the last three years in Sustainable assets aligned to this framework. She has been part of the Phoenix Investment team for nearly 13 years and prior to this worked in investments at Zurich Insurance Group.
Sindhu is a CFA charter holder and also holds an MBA from Warwick Business School. She is also a Non-Executive Director and represents Phoenix at the board of Transition Pathway Initiative.
Senior Consultant, Ortec Finance
Koen de Reus is a Senior Consultant at Ortec Finance, where he helps clients understand the financial impacts of systemic risks from climate change. Over the past decade, he has specialized in stochastic scenario analyses for Asset Liability Management (ALM), Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA), and pension fund risk management.
In recent years, Koen has applied his ALM expertise to climate scenario analysis. Using a range of realistic climate risk scenarios that combine climate science with macroeconomic and financial impacts, he assists financial institutions in quantifying systemic climate change risks and identifying potential opportunities in various plausible futures. This approach assists global investors in assessing and preparing for climate change risks.
Koen is a CFA charter holder and has an MSc in Physics from the University of Leiden.
Sr. MD & ESG Chairperson, Blackstone
Dr. Jean Rogers is a Senior Managing Director and Blackstone’s ESG Chairperson. She partners with investment and ICS teams on energy transition and ESG-related initiatives.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Dr. Rogers advised companies and asset managers on long-term ESG integration as an independent board director and C-level advisor. Dr. Rogers founded and led the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), a non-profit dedicated to optimizing US capital markets by fostering disclosure of material sustainability information that meets investor needs and enhances public trust. Before founding SASB, Dr. Rogers worked to advance sustainable development across the US, Europe, and China for more than a decade at Arup, a global engineering consultancy specializing in low-carbon infrastructure and green buildings, and Deloitte, where she worked on environmental projects in its manufacturing practice.
Dr. Rogers holds a PhD in environmental engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and earned both her BE and ME in civil and environmental engineering from Manhattan College. She was a Loeb Fellow at Harvard University and currently serves as an advisor to the Social Innovation and Change Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Hoffman Global Institute at INSEAD. Dr. Rogers serves on the Board of Directors of Xpansiv, a Blackstone portfolio company, as well as on the Investment Committees for certain of Blackstone’s strategies in private equity and private credit focused on energy transition and climate solutions.
Virtual CISO, Aedile Consulting
Nic Miller is the owner and Director of Aedile Consulting, a bespoke cyber-security consultancy. The company was founded in 2017 to provide pragmatic and accessible advice to smaller and medium sized organisations. Its virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) service provides smaller firms on-demand access to cyber security advice and guidance and allows them to understand and manage their cyber security risk.
Prior to founding Aedile Consulting, Nic spent three years as the CISO for Brevan Howard, a global, multi-billion AUM hedge fund. Nic also worked as security operations lead for IG, a financial services firm that provides a derivatives trading platform.
Nic began his career at GCHQ, in a rare position of working across all three main UK Intelligence agencies on wide-ranging issues from Cyber Security to Counter Terrorism and combined operations. In this time, he spoke at international conferences on advances in cyber security research and operations.
Nic has spoken at cyber security events around the world. He was invited to present at the UK Government’s flagship cyber security conference, CyberUK and has spoken at numerous financial services events in the UK and Brazil. In addition, Nic has been interviewed multiple times on BBC radio on topics such as the security of the ‘Internet of Things’ and corporate use of social media.
Senior ODD Analyst, Investcorp Tages
Matthew is a Senior ODD Analyst at Investcorp-Tages, a multi-manager investment firm, investing across alternative investments on behalf of institutional investors. Investcorp-Tages is an experienced provider of seed and acceleration capital to emerging alternative fund managers. As part of the investment team, Matthew is responsible for the operational due diligence of new and existing portfolio investments.
Previously, Matthew has worked at Kedge Capital, CQS, TwentyFour Asset Management and Wells Fargo, across operational due diligence and operations roles.
He holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance in Emerging Economies from the University of Reading and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Business Administration from Henley Business School.

Wilfried Duteil joined Acasta in 2020. Previously, Mr. Duteil was a senior analyst at Citadel covering event-driven credit and equity investments in Europe. Prior to Citadel, he was a Director at Tricadia Capital where he focused on global distressed debt, high yield and special situations equities. Before Tricadia Capital, Mr. Duteil worked at Bain Capital Credit and started his career in the European Special Situations group at UBS.
Mr. Duteil holds an MSc in Business & Economics from Paris Dauphine University and an MSc in Risk & Asset Management from EDHEC Business School. Mr. Duteil is based in London.

Mihai is a BlueBay Senior Portfolio Manager within the Emerging Markets Team. He joined BlueBay Asset Management (which is now part of RBC Global Asset Management) in January 2020 and his primary portfolio management responsibilities include the illiquid strategy covering loans, illiquid instruments, special situations and distressed.
Prior to joining BlueBay, Mihai was a Founding Partner for the credit strategies at Helios Investment Partners. Mihai has 19 years' experience including on the sell-side where his last role was heading the emerging markets structuring team across fixed income, currencies and commodities.

Jamie is a Portfolio Manager in Polus’ Special Situations team. He was previously a Senior Analyst at Polus and, before that, held the same role at Bybrook.
Prior to joining Bybrook at inception, he was an Investment Associate at Park Square Capital, a European credit fund in London, where he specialised in investments in stressed and distressed situations, private primary deals and rescue financings. Previously, he was an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance team at Deutsche Bank in London.

Mr. Srivastav is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager in the London office, focusing on distressed and special situations investments for PIMCO’s distressed credit strategies.
Prior to joining PIMCO in 2018, he was a Vice President in the high yield and leveraged loans capital markets desk at Morgan Stanley. Previously, he worked on the leveraged finance desks at HSBC and Barclays, focusing on originating, structuring and executing deals in non-investment-grade credit.
He has 14 years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Sheffield.

Bilal Sabihuddin is a Portfolio Manager for CPP Investments’ External Portfolio Management (EPM) group in London, focusing primarily on public market co-investments and credit long/short strategies. EPM oversees a portfolio of externally managed hedge funds and have investments with over 60 top global asset managers across equities, credit, fixed income, currencies, and commodities. EPM forms long-term partnerships, irrespective of whether the underlying fund strategy is short- or long-term in nature. The group also makes co-investments alongside external managers.
Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2019, Mr. Sabihuddin worked at Brookfield Financial in Toronto, focusing on development and financial advisory mandates for infrastructure projects. Prior to his work at Brookfield Financial, Mr. Sabihuddin was an analyst in the Project Finance and Infrastructure group at Manulife Financial.
Mr. Sabihuddin earned a Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Previously, he was Corporate Affairs Director for BAA, the FTSE 100 company which owned Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports.
